You Can’t Have Been Fired for Misconduct

What are the requirements to get unemployment in Oklahoma? Hi, I’m Muskogee Attorney Eric Strocen with the Wirth Law office, and I’m here to explain.
The first requirement is that you must have made the minimum amount of wages allowed by the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission in order to justify receiving these benefits.
The second is you could not have been fired for misconduct or due to any fault of your own. Now, there are a tremendous amount of stories out there where people have been fired as retaliation because someone was upset, and even more heinous things happen in some of these places.
The third requirement is that you were actively looking for work and are available to work. That’s important because these benefits are temporary.
Now, if you or someone you know has come across the unfortunate situation to be without work due to no fault of their own, call us at The Wirth Law Offices, or visit our website at muskogeeattorney.pro, and let’s see if we can get a quote for you and see if we can assist.
