Is there anything you can do when your property is in someone else’s possession without your permission? Hi, I’m Eric Strocen. I’m a Muskogee attorney with the Wirth Law Offices here to explain.
We can file what’s known as a replevin action, which is a tort claim to demand that the possession of the property be turned over to you. Usually, those are used kind of in the dependency between actually suing for another claim.
However, they are a course of action we can take to get a property back. You usually see this in the context of disagreements between businesses about who exchanged what, when, and it can get pretty messy.
