If, after due diligence, we can prove we are still unable to locate someone, Oklahoma civil procedure has set forth a way for us to do service by publication. Basically, we just let the entire public know that there’s a court case pending against this person.
Now, you can’t jump to that immediately. You usually want to make a couple of attempts. With my clients, I tend to be able to just find a process server and have that person go maybe try to knock a couple of times or ask around the neighborhood.
